Kathy Hardy has over 25 years of executive staffing field experience as a Senior Vice President and Global President in national and international staffing markets. In addition to her extensive territory management within the top ten staffing organizations, Kathy is also a successful serial entrepreneur within the staffing services industry. She has been the creator and driver of three successful start-ups and knows the joy of picking the right time and place for a new idea.
Currently, Kathy is the CEO/Founder of her own consulting company, KHardy Consulting, which offers executive coaching, Leadership Development seminars, and strategic consulting engagements in the staffing industry.
Her most recent start-up project was with Kelly Services designing and launching an independent placement firm called Kelly Discover. Discover is a place where overlooked candidates including neuro-diverse, racially diverse, and economically underserved talent were skill-matched, placed, and supported to grow within Kelly’s MSP customers. Companies such as Farmers, John Deere, Motorola, Baker Hughes, and Nasdaq contracted with Discover to improve their DEI objectives, and to fill critical IT, compliance, and auditing roles with committed, loyal candidates whose resumes didn’t easily sell all their transferrable skills.
Prior to this 2-year project, Kathy was involved in a large start-up for a non-profit training organization called Year Up. She was brought on to create, launch, and deliver a placement program for inner city economically underserved diverse talent once they completed their yearlong training with Year Up. From creating the marketing approach, executing the business framework, (which was a profitable model, PBC Corp.), and growing from dollar one to supporting over 3000 placements at the 4-year mark. Her innovative program earned YUPRO the ASA Care Award in 2018.
Kathy has worked as an Executive SVP running 46 branches in the Western half of the US ($280M) for Spherion/Randstad and Inventiv Health Services while creating, launching, and driving a leadership development program for 2 consecutive years, graduating 130 high performers.
In her 25 years of experience, she has helped lead global staffing organizations to success by incorporating coaching practices to develop leaders and assembling highly interdependent specialized teams. In the nonprofit and for-profit world, her innovative business models not only drove business success but moved social mission initiatives forward.
